I was inspired by this trip of CCG, and mentioned that I would like to be part of his next trip. He promptly called my bluff, and I had to concede that I wouldn't be able to join him due to constraints of family. Spending a Sunday on the bike is just a dream for a married man, with a kid. But like in everything, there is always a compromise.
I went for a ride in the East Coast Road on Sunday early morning along with my wife.
There is something about early morning rides, the chill air on your face, not a soul on the road (atleast towards ECR, the revellers from ECR come in the opposite direction), the sea your regular companion, and the sun peeking out...
Ah, but having to come back before the kid is awake, we went all the way to Mahabalipuram and took a U Turn back. My wife said, only crazy people go all the way to Mahabalipuram and comeback without stoppping. As they say, the journey is important, not the destination :-)

Ravages, when she mentioned crazies, she was talking about you too ;-). And the photos were taken by Missus, I was the driver.
Great snaps and nice new banner.
BTW, I am one of those 'crazies' your wife mentioned. Myself and my friend would pick up the bike, go straight to chengulpet. Drink a tea on a roadside shop. Vrooooom. Come back !!
Thanks Guru, I got the idea of changing the banner from one of CCGs commenters.
We should probably have a slogan, "Crazies of the world, Unite" :-)
To arms, brothers.
Rather, to bikes, birather
