Tsunami remembrance day

Today while coming to office via Beach Road, saw black flags fluttering on all the fishing boats. It has been a year. Even though I was unaffected, (except for the mad rumour about another Tsunami that forced me to evacuate my office) at some level I think it changed us all. The incident proved to me (if proof was needed) the ephemerality of life; and that there is no god (Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian or the Invisible Pink Unicorn).
