I am sitting at office opposite to the port, and just received news that water levels are raising in Chennai, Nagapattinam and Tuticorin. Spoke to my brother in law in Tuticorin, he is just vacating his home. I am still at office, but the port has been evacuated. Went to the roof terrace, but couldn't see much. NDTV is running flash news that there is another Tsunami, and there is fear all around, but I feel it is not going to happen again. If it happens, well this is my last post :-)
Update: First hand info - water is just at the edge of the port, saw from Royapuram bridge. A rise of another 1 ft, sea would enter the port. Am vacating office now.
