Of all the posts I made, I think the post on Governor James Macrae deserves a special mention. Do read it. It made me realise the power of Google, where in I was able to reconstruct the history of a man who was in Madras almost 300 years back. It also gave a high to be an amateur historian, even if it was only in my imagination.
