really nice pictures, makes u want to leave the city...a peacock in the courtyard wooowww!!!
Thanks guys for the comments. My village is near Karaikudi. Life at the village moves at its own pace. Everything is based on the arrival of the bus from Karaikudi or Pudukkottai, and there are only 8 trips a day. So you can do nothing but relax.
Nice pics. Especially the one from your courtyard give the house a mighty look.
I've had friends from pudukottai who use to talk in length about Karaikudi's beauty and it's food. I've enjoyed the food but haven't been there.
Sooper pictures!! India-layum azhaga azhaga locations eduthu irukeenga :)
chenthil,
Nice ones.but disappointed a little.you could take zillion pictures in, karaikudi and the areas around it.Only 7 pics, iam sure u took more than that,Where are the rest?
Senthil, you obviously belong to the area :-). I took a few snaps of my village Konapet only, it is a small village near Tirumayam. The real architevtural marvels (cliche) are in the villages of Pallathur, Kottaiyur, Aathangudi and Kaanaadu Kaathaan.
