Well, the quake in Sumatra led to Tsunamis in Tamilnadu. Though I can brag saying that I saw a twenty foot tall wave, I didn't see ay thing and nothing happened to me. I attended a function in a relative's place, travelled across Chennai and the city has no visible damages. But the port is flooded, fishermen's huts have been washed out and the TV channels are blaring with increasing counts of death. If it was a working day, I would have been travelling by the beach road at the time of Tsunami and probably would have added one more to the count.
